When we bought this land at the West End Brewery site - we did it because we did not want to see this site lay vacant for years.
It may not look like much now.
But the next chapter in Southwark's rich history is here.
Over the coming years, this site will come to life as a vibrant, well-connected new suburb - with Commercial & General being selected as the developer for two-thirds of the site.
We wanted homes to be built for South Australians and built fast.
And in less than three short years, frames are going up - with people moving in this year.

That's what bringing the MotoGP(TM) Australian Grand Prix to Adelaide is all about.
The national and international visitors that will be drawn to our city will bring new investment and spending into our state.
And importantly, projecting Adelaide and South Australia on the world stage.
