Lara Golding

Biography

Lara holds a Masters in Education Studies as well as qualifications in Physics, Maths and French.  She has taught in private and public schools for ten years, and is currently head of the Maths Faculty at Seaton High School.  She has also lectured in Mathematics Education at Adelaide University and volunteers at the Australian Education Union to provide professional development in behaviour management for new teachers.

Lara won the Inspirational Secondary School Teacher of the year award in 2011 for the Western Adelaide region.

Prior to working as a teacher, Lara worked in the retail and community sectors. She has volunteered for various organisations over the years and in 2003 she won a Prime Minster's Centenary Medal for her service to the community. She is experienced in leading and representing diverse groups of people.
