- Candidate for Waite
Rebekah was born in Glenelg and has lived in southern Adelaide for 20 years. She lived in Papua New Guinea for 6 years before returning to her home town to study. Rebekah has a strong passion and interest in public policy development and completed a Bachelor of Government & Public Management at Flinders University.
Rebekah has worked in a variety of management and head office roles in both small and medium size businesses and understands the challenges faced by local business. After 9 years in the retail sector, she became a union organiser advocating for people who were often experiencing difficult and emotional circumstances.
Over the past 12 years Rebekah has been proud to watch South Australia grow and thrive under Labor.
Rebekah has a vision to further improve services, particularly in aged care, health and mental health, and also infrastructure in the seat of Waite. She believes this can be achieved utilising her skills and experience and by providing a strong Labor voice to represent the people of Waite in State Parliament.
Rebekah has followed her passion to help people and currently works for the Federal Government.
