Clare Scriven was raised in Mount Gambier and returned to the region after living and working in Adelaide for many years.
Clare was previously State Manager of the Australian Forest Products Association and is passionate about the importance of the industry to the South Australian economy.
Clare is committed to regional development, social & economic inclusion, improving educational opportunities and supporting small business.
As well as private sector roles in forestry and human resources, Clare has many years’ experience in government policy and service delivery. Clare also understands first-hand the rewards and challenges of self-employment.
Clare’s post-graduate studies in management and business have complemented her diverse working background.
Clare and her husband, Gerard, are devoted to their family and have six children.
Clare is inspired by her passion for the community to represent the state in the Legislative Council, with a special focus on the Limestone Coast.
