A social worker, Karin has consistently lived in Whyalla for more than three decades – sticking with the community through thick and thin.

Raising her kids in Whyalla, Karin knows the importance of ensuring young people have every opportunity to learn and grow at home – that means good quality, secure jobs and training facilities in the regions.

Karin supports the decisive action the Albanese and Malinauskas Labor Governments took to secure the steelmaking future of Whyalla, because she knows first hand how important it is.
