Michael Brown

Michael Brown was born in the Northern suburbs and is a local resident of Florey with his wife and 3 daughters.

Before being elected to Parliament, Mr Brown had a successful career in the IT sector and worked as an adviser to government on economic development issues. After six years as State Secretary of the SA ALP, he became Chief Executive of an Adelaide law firm.

Mr Brown later served as Chief of Staff to the Minister for Communities and Social Inclusion.

Mr Brown was elected as the Member for Playford in the South Australian Parliament in March 2018 and in March 2022 was elected as the Member of Florey.

In Michael’s spare time he enjoys reading a good book and spending quality time with his family.
