Alice is a lawyer, a Mum and a part-time farmer. Her family moved to Australia from apartheid South Africa, in search of a fairer society. They found that in the community of Toorak Gardens. She attended school within the electorate and held her first jobs delivering the local newspaper and serving coffee at Burnside Village.
Her passion for a fairer society transcended into her career. Alice pursued a career in law and justice, where she held senior positions in two of Australia’s largest commercial firms. Today, she provides voice for the voiceless in her role as Head of Policy and Strategy at the Australian Pro Bono Centre.
Alice wants to give back to the community that gave her so much and continues to do so today. Alice wants to step up for the constituents of Bragg and provide voice from within Government, as part of the Malinauskas Government team. A team that believes in bold policies that will inspire current and future generations to achieve their dreams – dreams of a fairer society.
