Davenport and the southern suburbs is filled with beautiful, green open spaces and trails. thriving local business, and vibrant sporting clubs and community groups.
This community is my home. It’s where my husband, Adam, and I bought our first home; it’s where we have chosen to raise our two children, Lara and Liam; and its where we see our family’s future.
Lara loves to skateboard in Minkarra Park, and every weekend Liam laces up for the Vikings. Our dogs love to explore the local parks and water ways.
We love this community. The community I’ve had the privilege to serve as Mayor.
Locals have welcomed me into their homes, our clubs, our halls, and shared their stories and concerns.
Together, we put our council on a new path, leaving the troubles of the past behind. We delivered record-low rate increases, introduced fortnightly green bin collection, and waived rates for clubs during tough times. We have fought hard to earn back your trust.
I am proud of our achievements, but I know our community. I know my neighbours. And I know we can do better.
I know there are issues in our community that a Mayor can’t fix, like.
- ramping at Flinders Medical Centre, where my children were born.
- investment in our sporting clubs and critical community infrastructure.
- providing our children with the Education they need to succeed.
- creating jobs to keep South Australians in our State.
I look forward to making our community even better.
