Reggie was the campaign Director for the 2014 State Election victory, winning what was called ‘the unwinnable election’ with a budget only one third the size of the Liberals campaign budget.
Working closely with Premier Jay Weatherill over the following four years was a highlight of Reggie’s career in Party Office, but the result of the 2018 election still haunts him, having increased the Labor Party vote but losing the election after a dramatic redraw of the electoral map. This loss drives Reggie every day, and he now works tirelessly to see the return of a Labor Government led by his friend Peter Malinauskas.
Reggie is married to the love of his life and soul mate, with two fantastic young children who motivate him to want to do more to create a better future. His interests are sports (particularly cricket where he dreams of returning to the park, if only his shoulder could handle it!), reading, travel and cinema and his policy passions are education, employment and equity.
