Molly Byrne OAM – Labor’s first woman elected to the SA Parliament and second woman elected to the House of the Assembly in 1965.
Anne Levy AO – served as the first Labor President of the Legislative Council from 1986 – 1989. Anne is the first (and so far only) woman to hold the Leg Co Presidency.
Carolyn Pickles – Leg Co Member from 1985 – 2002 and first woman elected to lead a major party in any Chamber in the SA Parliament (served as Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council)
Olivia Savvas – elected at the 2022 State Election, representing the marginal seat of Newland and youngest woman ever elected to the House of Assembly
Rhiannon Pearce – elected at the 2022 State Election, representing the marginal seat of King and serves as Assistant Minister to Deputy Premier Susan Close.
