SA Labor Women’s Network and Senator Marielle Smith are excited to invite you to the rescheduled virtual launch of Enough is Enough with Jenny Macklin and Kate Thwaites.
Jenny and Kate have come together to write this book which explores how the culture and structure of Parliament House has allowed sexual violence and harassment to flourish.
In Enough is Enough, Jenny and Kate call for actions to have consequences, and for an end to a culture of political impunity. They want to seize the moment that has embraced politics in the last year to make sure that women are not just in the room, but that they are safe there.
Join Senator Marielle Smith and the SA Labor Women’s Network in a chat with Kate and Jenny about their book and experiences in the Federal Parliament followed by Q&A.
Funds raised from this event will be distributed between the excellent group of young women running as candidates in the Marshall Government’s most marginal seats.
